An Introducing Broker (IB) refers traders to a brokerage and earns commission based on the trading activity those clients generate. In forex, IBs act as a bridge between traders and brokers: they bring in clients, often provide education or local-language support, and receive a share of the spread or rebate whenever referred clients trade.

Unlike affiliates, who are usually paid a one-time CPA (cost-per-acquisition) fee, IBs earn recurring commission for as long as their referred clients continue trading. Because of that, the IB model works best for partners with an existing audience, network, or trading community, since it rewards long-term relationships rather than one-off sign-ups.

IBs do not manage client funds, execute trades, or hold custody of capital. Those responsibilities remain with the broker (in this case, AxiTrader LLC) under its regulatory licence. The IB's role is limited to introducing clients, providing education, and offering support.

The Axi Introducing Broker program pays commission based on the trading activity of the clients you refer (up to 55% revenue share, paid daily). Your earnings come from the spread or trading fee Axi already charges the client — they are not added as an extra cost, so the more your clients trade, the more you earn. Commissions are calculated daily and can be withdrawn the same day, with no minimum withdrawal requirement. Through the Partner Portal, you can track performance in real time, including balances, historical results, and a breakdown of your top 20 clients. This gives you a clearer view of which referrals perform best and which marketing channels are generating the strongest results.

Affiliates are usually paid a one-time CPA commission when a referred client signs up, deposits funds, and starts trading. Introducing Brokers (IBs), by contrast, earn ongoing commission for as long as their referred clients continue trading.

In practice, IBs are generally better suited to partners with active trading communities, coaching businesses, or financial education audiences, while affiliate models tend to work better for publishers and content-driven websites focused on monetising traffic.

Axi also offers a Hybrid Program, which combines elements of both, a one-time payout per qualified referral, plus ongoing revenue share.

Commissions are calculated daily and available to withdraw the same day. There is no monthly cycle and no minimum withdrawal threshold for IB earnings.

Clients referred through the Axi IB program can trade using MT4, MT5, MT4 WebTrader, MT5 WebTrader, the Axi mobile app, and the Axi copy trading app. Available markets include forex, indices, commodities, stocks, crypto CFDs and crypto futures.
